Australian artist Sinan Revell has worked in a variety of media. This includes photography, ceramics, encaustics, mixed media, and the performing arts, Sinan grew up in her family's Chinse cafe in an industrial town after they fled China for Australia. She lived in a multi-cultural mix of migrant communities. The Sydney University graduate went on to a career in the performing arts, acting, and later with an industrial band in London. After settling in Los Angeles, Sinan returned to art practices and writing.
